I have 15+ years of industry experience in cybersecurity and applied machine learning. During these years I had the following roles, software developer, application security engineer, software security architect, chief software architect, director of engineering. I was the director of engineering of Plurilock Security Solutions. Plurilock is a cybersecurity company that develops insider threat detection systems our primary customers are in defense, finance, and security compliance. I helped in the design of security systems and products for the RCMP ( Royal Canadian Mounted Police ), DRDC (Defence Research and Development Canada), U.S. Department of Defense, DIUx, and many other organizations.
I was also the Data Science Team Lead for the behavioral fraud detection team at NuData from MasterCard. I have strong connections in the cyber security industry and software development in general. I provided consulting services to various cybersecurity and IT companies in Canada for the last 7 years.
I received my Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from the University of Victoria, BC, Canada, in 2015. I am an assistant professor at the school of computer science, University of Windsor, since September 2017.
